About me

I lead the learning and development function for Ropes and Gray's London office. Drawing on my twenty years of experience in the legal sector, I design and deliver skills and substantive law programmes that are inspiring and engaging for our lawyers and in a way that maximises the return on their time.

I am also Vice-Chair of the City of London Law Society's training committee.

Areas of special interest:

- the importance of 'robotproofing' our lawyers by ensuring their development goes beyond substantive law and legal skills to include a broader range of distinctly human skills that will support their long term success, such as emotional intelligence, effective collaboration, coaching others and creative thinking.
- the role learning and development can play in innovation by facilitating creative approaches to problem solving and modelling an openness to new ideas.
- the transformative impact of executive coaching for lawyers at all levels, especially during periods of significant change and transition.
